If you're comfortable in heels and can wear them and walk confidently without tripping or staggering awkwardly, then wear them. I'd say no higher than 3 inches. Put them on and walk around your house, making sure you can go up and down stairs. If you're comfortable, go for it! Otherwise, try a flat or a wedge because those can be easier to walk in. Don't think you need to wear heels because somebody says you need to. Wear heels only if you feel confident in them! Have fun!
As long as you can walk across your room 3 times without hesitating or tripping, they're fine. It's what my mom taught me for my high school graduation!!
3 inches is fine. Lots of 8th graders wear platforms higher than that. But if you're wearing pumps or sandals I would not go any higher. Have a great prom!!!
For 8th grade please wear flats. You're still young, and walking in heels is a bit hard at that age. You dont want to fall. A girl at my graduation fell and I felt so bad for her, but I wore the cutest white flats and I still looked good, so i'd say flats -Also even if you think you walk good in heels, when you're in the moment, everyone's eyes are on you and your special moment, you dont want to fall and ruin your memory of your graduation.
