i doesn't hurt that bad, its quick and easy, you should get it done with a needle because it's less painful and you have a chance of shattering your ear with the gun, after getting your piercing it just feels like you're curling your hair next to your ear, it just feels like heat, i would say the pain is a 6-7, and I'm a wuss, nothing too bad, and yeah it would look nice with one
