Unless you have a tailoring machine at home there's not much you can do apart from wearing it high up on your waist. The height of the patiala can be altered...the top part needs to be shortened till the length is suitable. You could request some tailor to do this. Unfortunately, the rest of it can't be altered.

thank you for your suggestion @madhumitha. If we alter the height will it be normal. Cos the opening of the legs are also too big.Can noting be done about that ???
