I got new glasses a couple months ago, but I forgot to ask my doctor about getting contact lenses. I've been wearing glasses since kindergarten and I meant to ask him about them because they would be more convenient for me...anyways, my dad said I could get some, but we forgot about asking the doctor. Would I have to make another appointment to discuss this or could I just find out my prescription and buy some from Acuvue? You have to make another appointment in order for them to measure your eyes again for accuracy and will most likely teach you wear and care at that time as well

I wear glasses and contact lenses. You need to make an appointment specifically for contact lenses. At the appointment they will fit your eyes with a pair of contact lenses and make sure they're sitting correct on your eyeball. Goodluck and hope you like your contact lenses!
