I bought a rayon shirt that says to machine wash cold water cold and line dry. It's one size to big and I need it to shrink. Rayon is a notorious shrinker, but pretty good when it comes to holding onto color. Cold water is recommended for the least amount of shrinkage so wash it in warm water rather than cold and that should take care of one single size and leave it nice and bright. Don't put it in the dryer -that will shrink it at least two sizes and shrink it more in length than width. After you do need to wash it in cold water so it doesn't shrink any more.
