Hi, i recently ordered this armani gold- plated watch, i figured that since it is a good brand it will be good quality, but It is only $200 dollars and it is gold plated. I ordered it from macys so it being a fake is out of the question. I Dont know much about watches so please help me out. Also, what is gold ion plated gold. Ion plated means that the gold will not flake off, but it also means that your smart phone has more gold in it than the finish on your watch. It will rub off it you wear the watch daily. I never herd of gold pvt.

Gold plates is better then gold painted! however, pvd is the thinnest way to plate gold and it's extremly thin. After a while of wearing the watch it will most likley develope small spots or streaks, revealing stainless steel. Becuase it's aramni it's def. good quality, and it will hold up for a while. But $200.00 is to much for any PVD jewlrey. I payed $30.00 for a PVD watch once.
