I am currently at a 9/16. I plan on going to 1 & 1/4. I have several questions though. 1. Why do the flares on larger plugs/tunnels look so small? Won't they fall out? I see plugs mainly with very small flares to hold the ear into place on larger ones. It worries me because they seem as if they'd fall out. Can someone explain? 2. How do I prevent thinning of my lobes? (Just in case) 3. At 1 & 1/4, will the weight of wooden, metal, or stone plugs weigh my ears to the point where it's stretched to a larger size? I understand that there will be space once your ears heal from a stretch. I just don't want to be forced to go up again due to weight. Weighing your ears down is a common way of stretching, but I don't know if this size is big enough to do that. If so, could you tell me how to prevent it from stretching itself like that?I am currently at a 9/16. I plan on going to 1 &1/4. I have several questions though. 1.
