So I'm getting braces this upcoming Friday and I need to know the best color I should choose. I'm a black male and I've been looking for tips. What I was brought up with was to get dark blue or dark purple, or dark colors in general. i think black is best color

dark colors are cool and they wont stain as bad when you eat :) I'm going to get dark purple when I get mine :)

I would just get white to make them stand out as little as possible, but if you really want to have them colored, I'd stick to pastels/faded colors or really dark ones (like midnight blue) so they aren't gaudy. Love yourself and don't do neon.

well some colours do fade and change colour with foods so I would be weary of light colours. I suggest darker colours such as blue, navy, purple, black or gray. Personally I go for more outrageous colours that are offered by my orthodontist but I'm a caucasian female so I'm not sure if saying hot pink as a colour option will be helpful :)

Honestly you don't have go get dark colours, brighter colours would look just as good! I have braces, and my favourite colour to get it blue (:

Pick your favorite color. Whatever color you wear the most will probably look the best, but it's most important to like the color you pick.
