Well, it seems like your parents don't like the thought of bikinis (probably due to your religion). If you really want to wear one you can, but expect to be scolded by your parents, despite your age. If you have already moved out, than you should be fine. But, they probably won't like it, but if you want to wear one go ahead.

It is appropriate to wear a bikini im 13 and my family is catholic and i wear them all the time. You are also 18 so you can wear anything you like but please don't be slutty just becasue you can wear anything. Bikinis are good to wear but only if you are going swimming or anything to do with water.

Yea, you're 18 you can wear what you want. Make sure it covers everything well so it'll be better but still its a bathing suit so I don't see the problem.
