so my friend got this awesome deal for billabong and a lot of stuff is on sale and I was wondering, is it ok to just wear board shorts out in public? like I'm not necessarily near water or going swimming. it's summer here in California anyways. so do you think I can? and i have another question... are board shorts a lot like swim trunks? like what material do they have to them? and would it be weird if it was a nice day and i wore them to school? I don't know how it works in California, but on the East Coast it's pretty weird. If I see board shorts and no water around, then that's weird. It's as if a girl was walking in the middle of town in a wet suit. The texture really depends, but the website should have details about the fabric. And for the love of god, do NOT wear them to school! Board shorts is basically like wearing beachwear.
