Why is that wierd? I mean, you're showing your feet for a reason because you want show to show them off, right? Otherwise you wouldn't wear sandals and bother polishing your toes. Would you rather someone say something nasty? Always amazes me how so many girls try so hard to look nice and be noticed and then when someone finally notices and gives them a compliment they try to find an ulterior motive to it. If you don't like compliments, stop showing your feet. Or maybe just be flattered instead of trying to find a negative reason for it. It seems like guys are damned if they do and damned if they don't.
It's unusual but you can't say it's weird because like anything can be weird depending on the person. It's kind of the same thing as if I was saying cute top, cute skirt etc...maybe this person was looking for something to compliment you on that day and he liked the nail polish lol... idk my boyfriend told me my toe nail polish was cute the other day (mind me I told him I gave myself a pedi the night before so like the convo was already there) ..... but to me nothing is weird

It's unusual I suppose, but I had a guy compliment me on my belly button once so I'm not sure that nail polish is that weird. I mean, if he was looking at your feet and drooling, yes, that would be weird.
