Ok. I changed it at 6 weeks. It hadn't been hurting or pussing out. It seemed healed up. I got a stainless steel ring and put that in there. First I set that new ring in a shot glass with contact solution in it, then I used hand sanitizer to take the new one out. I did not clean my belly piercing though. I did that morning and I didnt touch it until then. It has been about a day sence I changed it, and it is itching. My friend got hers done right after me. Same day and all. She changed hers about a week before me. But hers rejected. Please tell me if its rejecting or not. I am alittle concerned. the skin above the barbell isnt thin or anything, but still, I am concerned.Ok. I changed it at 6 weeks. It hadn't been hurting or pussing out. It seemed healed up. Clean it with alcohol. Don't use anything else
It could be itching/irritated because you used contact solution and hand sanitizer. I definitely recommend using a salt water spray, which is sold at most piercing shops (or you can make your own). Also, the new jewelry you used might have caused a reaction, I know mine is very sensitive to certain materials. If its not hurting or oozing, it probably isn't rejecting, however you can always contact your piercer.
