No, it's very pretty. That would look great for a casual day at school, or even going out afterwards. Don't worry about it, and it's good to try new styles every once in a while. Oh, and it might look nice if paired with some sandals or flip flops (if your school allows them). Also, I know how you feel. I don't wear dresses a lot, but it will look nice, I'm sure.
