Yea I actually have 2 pairs of adidas training soccer pants just like those. They are really comfortable, good for workouts, and look very nice esp if you are slim. you should definitely get them. kudos!
I have a couple of pairs of them and I wear them all the time. I see a lot of other guys wearing them too. They are much more comfortable than jeans for casual wear with a hoodie or a sweatshirt. If your girlfriend thinks you should get them it is probably because she thinks thinks guys look hot in them. If I were you I would get them and wear them.

Around the house, or a quick trip in and out of a store. I wouldn't pay that much for working in them. A membership at a gym, or for sports, yes.
