I want to buy a winter coat. I'm thinking of the North Face Gotham or McMurdo or the Canada Goose Chilliwack. I'm thinking of buying the North Face on Ebay, but I haven't tried them on and don't know if they are true to size? I will be able to try on the Canada Goose at Sporting Life, an authorized dealer. I read that the Canada Goose is guaranteed for life. I wonder what the life span of the North Face would be? Thank you. Sincerely, WilliamI want to buy a winter coat. I've never owned a Canada goose coat, but I have a North face for 4 years and it's been perfectly fine. If any place sells North face go try some on...that should help you with the fitting. Look into the life time guarantee though...that's pretty nice to have...and if you with Canada goose...you know it'll be new and untouched.
I have had my North face for a few years with some heavy wear and its still good but if Canada Goose is guaranteed for life, you could get another one if something were to happen. I love north face and would heavily recommend it Id go with canada goose for you.
