I have to go to a christening for people I have never met. They are my partners friends but they are super poshy and all about perfection. All skinny and completely centered around thin and I have to wear a dress. I'm no like sure fat but I'm a self conscious size 16. And it's a christening I have to wear a dress or a skirt and it has to be classy. I'm panicked because I want to do my man proud. What shape wear is the best? I want smooth and slimming. I understand your feeling! I would suggest getting a tight slip/underskirt to hold in all the right places and a body hugging dress/skirt! It will totally bring out all your curves! Just play around in dresses and/or skirts til you find one that works. Trust me, you'll look amazing! It's what i do. Just make sure it's something you love, confidence will do it all!
