I have a pair of smart grey Chelsea boots and I'm stuck on what I could wear with them and also what colours would look goo, without being to overwhelming. Try black or a different shade of grey pants, or more casual dark wash jeans (no fading). Then more neutral tones like cream, oatmeal, grey, or white sweater or t shirt with navy blue, black or grey blazer. Or if you want more color a purple, maroon, or light blue shirt with grey jacket. Or more formal white or off white dress shirt. Grey or black leather belt. Silver belt buckle/watch/cufflinks. Just don't go with very bright/neon colors and you should be fine.
