I'm graduating high school this weekend, and I still don't know what shoes to wear. I'm pretty short (5' 4"), but I absolutely cannot walk in heels. Considering that our graduation has a super awkward layout (all the students are on stage seated and must walk up and down risers to get their diploma) I definitely don't want to chance wedges. So they must be flat shoes, but our staff has said no flip flops or open toed sandals. That kind of limits my options to really strappy sandals or ballet flats. I've considered oxfords, but would that look weird with my gown and all? Suggestions of shoes I could find at popular stores would be helpful as I will have to go out and buy them rather than ordering online this late in the game. Thanks for the help!I'm graduating high school this weekend, and I still don't know what shoes to wear. I'm pretty short (5' 4"), but I absolutely cannot walk in heels. Oxfords would look a little weird. However, I don't really understand the whole "no open toed sandals" thing. Pretty much all sandals are open toed. However, here are some suggestions:
Nice shoes are essential
