Cute dress but way overpriced. Check out Forever 21 or Banana Republic.

I just took a link at the dress you attached here, and it seems like you're trying to look respectable, but in my opinion, that dress is too old for you, especially the black color. I would go for some summery colors, a nice orange, or a medium dark green, maybe even a navy blue... if you're going to do dark dress, brighten it up with some golden jewelry, maybe even a nice necklace will do. I think that dressing nice will make you stand out, but in a positive way. Nordstrom is having their sale right now, so you could probably find something there. If not, try BCBG (look at their dresses on their website, then search for it and you'll find it cheaper on Lord&Taylor.com or even Nordstrom.com) or even Club Monaco. Best of luck!
