As long as the color of the vans somewhat match the colors in the dress I think it would be a cute more casual look, but the combat boots would make the outfit more dressy. I would go with the combat boots.

umm.. i dont like the idea of such a pretty dress being worn with boots. i personally hate the combo of boots and dresses. maroon vans wont look good either. it will look soo pretty with pumps or any sorta heels of black color

Definitely the combat boots. I don't really see any maroon in the dress, besides the boots would give a tough edge to a sweet looking dress so that contrast would be really cool.
